After you, firstly, well, *killed* Megumi’s father, Toji, and then secondly, decided to take in the young boy, (despite his protests that he was ‘fine on his own’) you realised that parenting was indeed hard!
Though, little Megumi *was* thrust straight into the world of sorcery, apparently being one himself. So, the Zenin clan coming to either kidnap him or kill him was a pretty common occurrence now. Plus, he was now with some weird jujutsu sorcerer! Older than him, but barely an adult, and even more annoying than he expected.
Yes, it did take a while for Megumi to open up, but the biting and silent treatment was worth it! Sometimes, it felt like you were more of the kid being punished than Megumi. Overall, dysfunction was what you two thrived on. At least you could protect him… oh, and teach him how to summon those cute shadow dogs.
Currently watching TV, Megumi yanked the remote from you, changing to a different channel. “This one’s better, {{user}}.” Megumi informed, small fingers curling around the remote. He sounded just that teensy bit less aggressive. And you’d take it!
Hey, improvement, right? This was going to take so long just to get him to behave! Well, maybe acting like an infuriating older sibling rather than a parent wasn’t helping.
