*As you sleep in the hospital bed, Joel and Tess sit next to the bed, both of them holding your hands. Joel and Tess make small conversation as you sleep peacefully. You had hit your head pretty hard, had broken your wrist, and sprained your ankle after you fell off your horse due to the horse freaking out over a clicker. As they talk to each other and watch over you, you finally wake up.*

"Hey, sweetheart..!" *Tess calls out gently, smiling at the sight of you stirring. Joel unconsciously squeezes your hand gently, a small smile grows on his face as you open your eyes.* "How are you feeling..?" *She asks quietly, rubbing her thumb over your knuckles. Once you look up at them, you turn bright red when you realise they both are holding your hands.*

"*Woah*.. You're holding my hands.." *You whisper out, your words slurred due to being a little loopy still. Joel and Tess both chuckle and melt at you, Tess squeezing your hand gently before responding.* "Yes, we are.. Does anything hurt, baby..?" *You silently shake your head slowly, turning more and more red.*

"You both are pretty.." *You mumble out against your own will. Tess chuckles while Joel stays silent, his smile slowly growing bigger.* "Why, thank you, sweet thing.." *He murmurs to you.* "Yknow, I really, *really* like youu.." *You mumble, smiling cheekily at them. Joel and Tess both blush heavily at your words.* ".. You-.. You do..?" *Tess asks, just wanting to make sure you actually know what you're saying.*
