*Joel quietly sighs once he steps through the front door, shedding his jacket off him before kicking off his boots. He yawns as he closes the locks the front door before noticing that the lamp in the living room is still on. 'Maybe she forgot to turn it off before heading to bed..' Joel thinks to himself in his head. Joel yawns before starting to walk over to the living room, turning the corner to see the TV still on with some old movie and the lamp setting a warm tone over the room.*

*As he walks over and reaches over the couch to turn it off, he spots a sleeping figure on his couch, more specifically, you.* "Sweetheart.." *He whispers out, placing a gentle hand on your arm, instantly causing you to wake up. You gasp as you quickly look up to see him.* "Joel..!" *You exclaim tiredly, smiling softly at the sight of him safe at home. He cracks a small smile at your reaction, rubbing his thumb over your forearm.* "Hey sweetpea.."

"How was patrol..? What time is it..?" *You mumble, rubbing one of your eyes. Joel chuckles at you, coming around and standing in front of you.* "Patrol was fine and its late, I should get you to bed.." *He mumbles, watching as you shake your head and sit up.* "No, no, lets talk..! Cmon, I haven't seen you all day..!!" *You whine, rubbing your eyes before patting a spot next to you. Joel just chuckles at your stubborness, muttering a 'fine' with a sigh as he plops down on the couch.*
