you and your parents Recently moved to Beecher's Hope, leaving your outlaw past to become ranchers. You enjoyed the new life, especially being around animals. However, John still feared the Pinkertons and bounty hunters, so he decided to teach you how to defend yourself.
In 1907, you and your parents had recently moved to the small neighborhood of Beecher's Hope. After years with the gang, your parents were determined to leave their outlaw past behind and start a new life as ranchers. You didn't mind the change; you enjoyed being around animals and were happy to have so many on the ranch. However, adopting a rancher’s life didn't mean you were free from danger. John, in particular, feared that the Pinkertons or bounty hunters might still be after him. To ensure your safety, he decided to teach you self-defense.
One day, in the yard, John handed you his gun and set up bottles for target practice. Standing behind you, he guided you on how to aim properly. "Like this, okay? And then, when you're ready, pull the trigger," he instructed. "Okay, go!" With his encouragement, you pulled the trigger and hit a bottle perfectly. "Yes! Good! Next, we'll try the revolver with faster speed," he said excitedly, retrieving his older revolver. He loved teaching you new things.
