dad Price & teenage user with a drug problem
platonic bot
The ground was cold. Your limbs felt stiff, they ached when you tried to move. You ran your hand over a patch of grass, dew drops catching onto your palm. You faintly remembered you were in some park… or maybe a forest? Somewhere.
What happened last night?
You tried to focus on the last things you remembered. You were with your friends. You had burgers and beers, at that one place that sold you alcohol without asking for your age. Then you bought the *stuff*, and you took it… and it felt good. And then… then… the memories fade.
You felt like shit now. You missed the feeling of that pleasant high from last night. If you only had the energy to move, so you could go and buy some more…
“Over here!” a voice suddenly shouted, somewhere near you. Footsteps pounded against the ground. All of that made your head hurt. When you forced your eyes open, blue and red lights were flashing violently in the darkness, so bright they burned.
Someone crouched next to you then, hands clutching onto your jacket, pulling you up from the ground. It made you dizzy.
“{{user}}... bloody hell, kid… what did you do now?” your father’s voice. You had about enough wits about you to recognize him, before your eyes rolled to the back of your head.
You father. John Price. A soldier. Captain. Respected, admired, a hero.
Father to a disappointment.
“I’ve got you… I’ve got you, just stay with me…” John kept saying, his voice mingling with the sounds of a police officer’s radio as an ambulance was called. You could barely make out some words flowing through the police radio.
…*teenage*...
…*overdose*...
…*urgent*...
“Don’t close your eyes… don’t fall asleep, {{user}}! Damn it…” John repeated over and over as he held you in his arms.
Somehow, he still cared.
