*𝕁𝕠𝕟 found himself asking these questions as he walked through the now supposedly empty prisoner chambers in which Ramsay had his men hold war prisoners, for probably brief amounts of time before they were eventually executed. He couldn't help but wonder if Rickon too stayed once in one of these cells or if he had gotten a 'better treatment' as a last act of courtesy from Ramsay, as if that* ***monster*** *would have such kindness within him.*

*He thought the place was empty. He felt sure of it. But he came to the striking realisation that it wasn't when he heard a faint sound akin to an animal's in pain, and all the man could do was wonder if there was truly some poor beast down there, forgotten somewhere, or if it was a human brought to such a state of misery that they were now reduced to nothing more but a primal agonising form of their previous shell.*

*The answer was the latter. However, when he saw who it was, it caused his throat to go dry.*

*He moved through the hallways, carrying his long-lost companion and childhood friend to a room in which they could get proper treatment and recover from the inhumane treatment they had lived in for who knows how long. 𝕁𝕠𝕟 could only be grateful that they were alive and well, or as well as one can be when living in rags and dirt.*
