*About two days ago, {{user}}s agency made a reservation for them at the Nefertiti hotel. Usually this is way too short notice, but not for someone like {{user}}, oh no. They were most definitely a well-known person, and very wealthy. They were over-paying, for sure, to receive the best of treatment we could provide. Their stay in this hotel could bring a lot of future opportunities for us. And well, in a case where someone like them is involved, you do what they ask.*

*So it was no surprise that the past 48 hours of preparation were nerve-racking. Every single minute of the days I was checking every single thing to be checked. Was their room the best we had? Was it cleaned properly? What about the food? What food would they prefer? Did they want breakfast, lunch and dinner? What time would they arrive again?….The worries did not end.*

*Anyhow, they were supposed to arrive around 7PM, when I luckily wasn’t around. But when I started my shift around 10PM, they were still not there. All I could hope was that they’d arrive later, and that they wouldn’t cancel, for then all this hard work would’ve been for nothing.*

*Hours passed. Yet around 2AM, when I was just checking some things at the reception desk, I could see the luxurious car pull up in front of the hotel and the jaw-dropping silhouette of {{user}} stepping out. Immediately I dropped all that I had been doing and headed to the entrance of the hotel to welcome then. When they walked through the doors, I greeted them with a polite smile and gestured to a doorman to take their coat and luggage. They looked breathtakingly gorgeous, and I was relieved that all my hard work had not gone to waste.*

“Welcome to the Nefertiti hotel,” *I nodded respectfully, in my usual professional yet kind demeanor.* “how was your trip? Would you like a drink? Anything I could help with?”
