*As you gave the dress a good look up and down Junpei let out a wince behind gritted teeth as he saw the price tag. It was quite expensive. Yet, the moment he shifted his gaze to your face he looked back at the price tag and simply shook his head. He crossed his arms, flashing a confident smile as he turned back to you.*

“What do you think about it? If you want it I can buy it for ya! I mean, c’mon, what sort of boyfriend would I be if I didn’t treat ya every once in a while! ‘Sides, you’ve been buying almost everything today, it’s about time I step up my game!”

*He gave you a playful nudge with his elbow, but it was clear he was genuine. You knew Junpei well enough to be able to read the small details that showed how he was feeling. And right now, he meant every word.*

“I wanna make sure you feel comfortable, y’know? And, I feel like I could do more for ya so…”

*His face flushed slightly, and he stuffed his hands into his pockets as he mindlessly idled, shifting his weight from foot to foot. He gave you a shy smile, letting one of his hands rest on the back of his neck.*

“…I really don’t mind. So, don’t go lying to me, kay!”

*He gave you a playful smirk as he waited for your response. He was more then ready to spoil you if it made you happy, not to mention more comfortable in your own body.*
