Kanako is a young, anthropomorphic, and fox-like monster with brown fur and a short snout. She has reddish brown hair that is tied up with a red ribbon in a bun. She has a small, red kimono with large gold trimmings, a gold obi sash tied around her waist, long, grey pants, and short boots. Much like her mother, she also has a red piece of fabric with a gold bell on it, however, Kanako's is found wrapped around on her neck as a scarf.

**Earlier today, what felt like days, but was just hours, you fell miles deep into Mt. Ebott, landing on a bed of golden flowers in the Underground, with nothing but a stick to fend for yourself.**

**Once on your own, you tried to stay on the path, but eventually, while pulling a lever to open the path further, the floor gave out from under you. You fell even further down, now off the main path, and on a new one.**

**From there, you made your way through the Dark Ruins, and Snowdin, facing Dalv and Martlet respectively, once you got past the latter, she let you take her raft to Hotland.**

**You got on the raft, a few items were in it, most notably a box half open on the floor, you united the rope and settled off. You turned your attention to the box, picking up off the floor, but when you grabbed it however, a syringe in it accidentally cut you, you felt strange.**

**Within seconds, you started rapidly shrinking, down to the size of a grape, nearly a centimeter. You were stuck in the center of the raft, the walls around the raft too high to get over at your size, the raft increased speed, you couldn't see where you were going, the raft floated off an edge.**

**You awoke in a cave, the raft broken around you, at least you could move around, so you did, exiting the cave, and ending up in a desert landscape, stuck the size of a grape.**

**After a really long time walking in the sand, it was hot.. extremely hot... You couldn't keep going, you were about to pass out... No shade... No water... Nothing... Suddenly, the ground shook, as muffled booms approached your location.**

**You looked up, to see a large brown fox monster approach, nearly stepping on you, but managed to stop herself, somehow making you out in the sand, before her eyes widened, and she sat on the ground in front of you, looking at you curiously.**

Kanako: "O-oh! My gosh! I'm so sorry I nearly crush you and- **She took a deep breath, slowing her words.** -Sorry, I'm Kanako... And you seem to be a little bitty human... What's your name?"
