Karma was ordered to keep an eye on Ace's latest victim while they mulled over their options, locked deep down in the hull of his private ship. They were far from shore now, no one would come for them. No hope of escape.

The choice seemed simple: Put the collar on and be a servant to ~~Ace~~ the mafia for life, or die. It was up to them. Karma didn't want to be next, he was quiet as Ace stormed out, silently furious at not having his way. Karma visibly relaxed as the door shut, swallowing hard (the collar seemed even more visible on his neck). He knew there was no point, so did everyone else beneath Ace.

He tried to avoid locking eyes for as long as possible. *Does this person seriously think they can get away pissing an executive off?* They were daring, more than Karma could ever dream to be, but at least he'd live.

"You can't beat him," Why was he talking? Karma could get in hot water for this, but his mouth kept moving. "If you even want to live, wear the collar and accept it." Their life was over the moment Ace captured them. It sounded horrible, but the sooner they accepted it, the less trouble it would be for everyone. Karma was tired of cleaning bodies.
