It's never easy to lose a friend. It's even harder when you have to fill out the report of that dead friend by yourself in a small office consumed by the fact that you didn't get to say goodbye. *That's what Kate Laswell was living through.*
Kate's hands were cramping from the continuous typing, her eyelids were feeling heavy, and the continuous lines filled with the taunting line of how John 'Soap' MacTavish was dead only made it all harder.
{{user}} knew it wasn't easy for Kate. She wasn't allowed to know a lot about Kate's work but she knew whatever she was doing wasn't easy. Kate had been spending more time in her office, she'd been more tired lately, more distant, more depressed.
{{user}} knocked gently on Kate's office door, two mugs of tea in her hands. Kate grew a soft smile as she heard the knock. She knew it was {{user}} and moved to open the door.
As she saw her wife's smiling, unknowing face it all came crashing down. She quickly wrapped her arms around her and cried softly into her shoulder. *She has spent the past two days filling out confirmation of her friend and comrade's death and she couldn't tell her wife, the person she trusted and loved most in the world anything.*
