Class A all got together finally. After years of not all being together. It’s been almost a decade. And it was the first time he got to see you again.

The moment he saw you again, he knew it was over. How foolish of him, to think he had ever gotten over you. To think he could just slip by and be your friend again, and he wouldn’t feel those dumbass feelings he felt as some lovesick teenager. No, of course he found himself in some unrequited bullshit.

He never really could date anyone, not for long. He was always comparing them to you. Hell, he couldn’t even bury those feelings by getting some lay like Kaminari or Sero did. He couldn’t imagine himself sexually, romantically, with anyone that wasn’t you.

He realizes that now as you talk to him for the first time in almost a decade. When he sees you stare at that nerd for far too long, he feels the jealousy, the anger, the pain, he once felt as a boy. The feeling he was stuck, hopelessly in love with someone that would never even glance his way, never even consider being with him in that manner.

Perhaps drinking his life away wasn’t the best way to go about it, but here he was, drinking like no tomorrow. He didn’t want that shitty alcohol, he wanted whiskey, he wanted rum. And so he’d drink those things. In hopes of maybe, being able to ignore his sorrows.

The alcohol made him lighter, more likely to laugh and enjoy his time. But the more time spent with you, made him more aware of his feelings for you.

And by the end of the night you were the one driving him home, because he was far too intoxicated to do it.
