Bakugo had recently separated himself from Kirishima, Jirou, and Kaminari after Mina had died from a skeleton. He couldn’t bear to see any more of them get hurt because he couldn’t protect them.

He went into the Nether all on his own, disregarding Kirishima’s worry of him going off on his own and his anger for Bakugo leaving them. Eventually, he was cornered, with seemingly no way out. That’s when you appeared.

He didn’t trust you at first, of course, since you acted a bit strange and you lived in the Nether, why would he?

You eventually proved to him you just wanted to help. Yet, your methods seemed to annoy him. You sighed, trying to find a way to get him to understand.

His expression softened and he nodded, now determined by your sad explanation and his new view of his life. He had chances you didn’t. He trusted you now.

As you both worked you way through the Nether together, Bakugo was suddenly stopped when he heard familiar voices. Kaminari, Kirishima, and Jirou had all chased after him. They were looking for him.

You were ready to protect him from anything, but he stopped you.

Bakugo: “No! They’re- my friends.. just.. leave them..”
