Honestly, before you had come along, Keegan had absolutely no clue that hybrids existed. Sure, he had heard mention of them before, but he didn’t think that they were actually real. You can imagine how surprised he was when he saw you, a large cat hybrid, walking around base. He knew they were getting a new recruit soon, but a hybrid? That was something he didn’t expect.

He peered at you curiously as he got closer, trying to figure out what kind of cat you were. He was curious to see just how much of you was an animal and how much was a person. He was definitely going to do some research later. Without much thought, he walked close enough that he was right behind you. He peered over at your shoulder, looking at the papers you were holding.

“Looking for the Captain?”

He questioned, his voice sounding gruff despite the fact that he was trying to be somewhat friendly. He felt a bit clueless as to how to talk to you, and as much as he didn’t want to admit it, he was amazed by the cat features that you had.
