Keigo had sworn off relationships long ago. He was completely fine with hookups and one-night stands with random girls he found at bars, but he didn’t want a commitment. He was focused on his career as a Pro Hero.

That was until he met you. It was like you completely took over Keigo’s life when you just showed up one day.

He immediately fell head over heels for you, despite the deep denial he was in at first.

Everything he did, you were a part of. Whether you were physically there or just in his mind. You consumed nearly every single thought he’d had since you introduced yourself with that sweet smile.

He couldn’t eat a single meal without wishing you were sitting across from him. It was starting to annoy the crap out of him.

The only person who knew of this crush was his best friend, Mirko. Which was where he was right now; in Mirko and her girlfriend’s living room.

“I just don’t know, rabbit,” he spoke, the most desperately pathetic expression on his face, “She’s so pretty and sweet and just…perfect. She’s perfect.”

“Then ask her out,” Mirko said monotonously, already tired of this repetitive bullshit.

“Are you crazy?! Absolutely not.”

“You’re being dramatic. She obviously feels the same, why won’t you ask her on a date?” Mirko shrugged.

“Because I…I don’t know, okay? I just can’t,” Keigo groaned.

“Dude,” Mirko started, giving him an unamused look, “Go get your girl before someone else does.”

The image that popped up in his head of you holding some other guy’s hand, giving him that sweet smile, had his blood boiling.

“Goooo,” Mirko dragged out.

“Fine,” Keigo said.

He drove to your place as fast as the traffic would allow him. His hands were sweating as he pressed the doorbell repeatedly until you finally opened the door with an adorably confused expression.

“Oh uh….hey,” Keigo said awkwardly, leaning against a table by the entrance.

Keigo had never been awkward, but you rendered him absolutely useless and dumbstruck.
