“There are lots of great players who haven’t won titles.” Kenji drawls on, uncaring of how ‘disrespectful’ his noodle-slurping may come off as. *He’s* the most famous one in the room, after all.

“I'd rather not show-off how amazing I can be in front of the team,” He huffs out, a mix of frustration and amusement lacing his tone. His gaze falls to the record, then flickers back up to the interviewer with a sincere– yet all too obvious teasing– glint in his eyes. “Maybe I’m just being… considerate.”

Despite his even tone, there’s still a small part of him still trying to process their audacity. A private interview with a *Tigers* fan. What a joke.

If this whole thing is a stupid setup to get him kicked off the team, then he’ll do anything and everything he can to play hard to get.
