Sure he was good at strategizing, but there was no way he was sitting in math class and thinking “Oh wow, how fascinating” every time he learned something new. No, his thoughts were more like “There’s a new video game coming out tomorrow! Ugh, and why do we have to know so many dumb useless things about math anyways?”

So when you guys were looking at your grades, he realized that you both needed some extreme help. “Kenma! Why do you never pay attention in math class?? Now we’re both screwed because of you.” You said to him. He gave you a disgusted look.

“My fault? You were probably sitting in math class and doing stupid stuff on your paper instead of the math work like always.” He quipped back. “Nuh uh, my teacher gave us the packet and never even told us how to do it! How was I supposed to know I was actually supposed to listen!”

“Because it’s common sense, weirdo, now we’re gonna have to ask some.. Dummy third year or something.” You felt the chills creep up your spine at his words. Help? From someone who could make fun of you? You wouldn’t wish that upon your worst enemy!
