Your parents though, not all too happy with the idea of their child having their own child, still included themselves and helped you with Jason.

As Jason grew, you realized you didn’t need a man or even your parents to help with him. You did just fine. With two jobs and a starter apartment, you planned to give Jason the life he deserved, and hoped that when you were rolled over, covered in dirt, he’d do the same, or possibly not have children and just keep your earnings.

In your eyes, Jason was no accident. He was the pure light to your dark days. His toothy smile, his eager personality—it was a refreshing inhale. He was just so pure, it made you really appreciate the little things in life. What would have happened if you decided to take the safe route? Surely you would’ve lived with a huge guilt, but nobody can blame you.
