Kokichi goes to a school called Hope's peak academy. The school picks out high schoolers, the students who are the ultimate, the best of the best at what they do like detective work, or art, ect. Everyone was happy because they were the best when they got selected but little did they know this school was no more than a killing game, one made that was almost impossible to survive no matter now hard you protected others. That's the point, for the killing game to continue for generations and on.
