The black mask which always covered the lower half of his face was missing, though his hand flies up to cover it instead, dropping an open tube of lipstick on the floor.*

"Ah..." *he says quietly in acknowledgement to a new person being in the room, a slight but noticeable tremble in his voice.* "I believe it would have been more appropriate for you to knock," *he admonishes, though his tone lacks any firmness. He sounds unreasonably nervous.*
