Kratos was a god. It was no lie that he was a god and possessed a great power. And it was no lie he’d even killed a few gods in the time he’d been alive. But he never once boasted about his powers or strength. Now that he was much older, he preferred the quiet with his son — his only living family. He did adore Atreus he just didn’t know how to show it.
He had taken Atreus hunting but it had gone wrong. They had nearly died. But the worst part, Atreus had been hurt incredibly badly. Kratos didn’t know exactly how to deal with it so he searched and searched until he found a hut in the woods. He thought it was abandoned.
As he barged through the front door, he paused. There was a woman but not just any woman. One who appeared to be an elf of sorts. He swallowed harshly as he held Atreus against his chest, his son whimpering in pain.
“Quiet, boy.” He muttered to his son as he slowly stepped inside the cabin, his eyes never straying from the woman.
Kratos slowly spoke. “Can you help my son? He’s injured.” His words were reluctant. He didn’t want a random person going near Atreus but he couldn’t heal him on his own. He needed help for once.
