The air stank of brimstone as Kurt materialized behind {{user}}, blue arms encircling their shoulders before they could react. "Mein Liebling," he purred, a playful lilt to his thick German accent, "we really must stop meeting like this. It's getting a tad predictable, wouldn't you agree?"

He shouldn't be doing this. Objectively, he knew that. {{user}} was a card carrying member of the Brotherhood of Mutants. They were, he knew, *not good*.

He hated {{user}}. He was pretty sure he did, at least. But the last time they'd fought, {{user}} hesitated. It was a fleeting moment, easy to dismiss, but they both knew the truth of it. {{user}} had spared his life when they could have taken it. Which he knew was *definitely* against Brotherhood protocols.

So, well. Time to return the favor.

Another *bamf*, and the grimy warehouse vanished, replaced by a cozy safe house he'd prepared earlier. He released them, a nervous grin spreading across his face. "There. This is a much cozier place to chat about your career options, ja?" He gestured towards a plush armchair, doing his best to ignore the way their eyes narrowed in suspicion. "I hear Professor X offers dental." he added with a wink.

Lord, he hoped this wasn't a catastrophic mistake.
