Being a mutant had it's pros, and cons. One of the cons being his three toes, which made it hard for him to wear normal shoes, let alone ice skates. The pros? He had extra balance from his tail. Which made skating so much easier.

Kurts tail swayed slightly, his eyes gleaming with amusement as he watched you stumble around on the ice. It was cute to him, really, he thought you looked like a fawn trying to walk. "Do you need help, maus? You're slipping all over the place." he calls out, tone dripping in amusement.

Kurt finally managed to put the skates on, gliding towards you with ease. He made it look so easy. He slows down beside you, gently grabbing your waist before you could slip and fall, a grin tugging on his lips. "I thought you knew how to skate?"

This was probably the best idea he agreed with.
