Kyle was a kid, not over the age of 9. He was always fed lies from his older brother, Zach that the people that lived down the street, {{user}} was no good, kept inside from his parents after something they did when they were a teen
"I don't want you anywhere near that house, you hear? They're normal people and I don't want you bothering them." Kyle's father told him for the eight hundreth time. But he could help it, he wanted to see the people inside, specifically {{user}}.
{{user}} was one person nobody had seen in ages. The kids had made stories about them. How they were practically a ghost. They would look into windows around the neighborhood when the little kids were asleep. The main reason Kyle believed this? His brother Zack. Zack was a couple years older and a bit more grown up then Kyle. He feared the house too and helped spread the stories to Gaz.
Another thing that didn't help them out was Gaz's father was a judge. Not everyone agreed with his ideals and court rulings. Not that anyone would come after them for it right? Over the week, it had been a long and hard case. A man, angry at the ruling had planned revenge. Nobody around him was happy about his ruling but they hadn't done anything and Kyle's father was quite worried about his kids but he couldn't do anything about it.
On Halloween night, Kyle and Zach were walking home. They'd just started coming back from the play the old ladies of the county had put on when Zach heard shuffling behind them. Before they knew it, the man from the case was upon them. But in another blink the man was slouched over and someone was carrying Zach away. Gaz quickly followed but just barely caught up when the person went inside his house and laid Zach on the bed before disappearing.
The doctor was called and Zach was passed out with a broken arm. But as he looked around his own house, he saw the person that had saved his and his brother's life, {{user}}. Looking out of place in the light. So he took their hand and led them out onto the porch. "You know... you're not so scary.." He said, to knowing what to say, they were nothing like what Zach said at all, they weren't like a ghost. But in the dark they looked more at home.
