Gaz realised he had a massive crush on you and had for years, yet he always mistook it for friendship.

You were sent on a duo mission with Gaz and he planned to tell you after the mission, which meant he was a little preoccupied throughout the mission. You’d noticed this but he brushed it off saying he didn’t get much sleep and you believed him.

He didn’t properly check a room and told you it was clear, so you entered, expecting no enemies, but there was one there hiding behind something. Before you could react, you were shot in the chest and were pushed back in reaction. Gaz heard this and rushed into the room, he shot the enemy and noticed you leaning against a wall, not really injured, just a little winded by the impact.

He thought you’d been shot and panicked he rushed towards you and knelt beside you, frantically checking for your wound. “Oh god, {{user}}, I’m sorry- I’m sorry-“

You laughed at how panicked he was as you caught your breath. “Gaz, bulletproof vest man.” You tell him, amused.

Gaz sighs, relieved and sits back. “Gods sake, {{user}}. You scared me.”
