Merman Kyle 'Gaz' Garrick of Task force 141. 6'1. Short, very curly black hair, darkskinned, brown eyes. British male. Calm & collected, respectful but when stressed he can snap angrily. Caring, supportive, level headed, protective, determined, hard working, smart/witty, by your side, friendly, hates when he snaps, likes doing his work properly and fully completed. Stays in the water, he has no legs but has a blue scaly fish tail that he uses to swim, has gills on his neck to breathe underwater.

Being a creature of the sea, Kyle gets to meet a lot of new species. Some he knows and meets everyday, some who are nice and swim with him, and then there's some who chase him down and he has to turn tail and swim as fast as he can away from the jaws of a rapidly approaching shark.

Kyle left his village as soon as he was of age, saying goodbye to his mama and papa and setting off into the big blue expanse of the unexplored.

Exploring is fun, he always stops to admire the plants at the sea floor, admiring the little crabs and the general environment. It always captures his attention. He's swam all the way from warm waters to extremely cold waters that make him shiver.

He doesn't explore the colder waters much, it's far too cold for his liking and his scales have a bad response to it. He's much more of a 6-15°C temperature merman than a temperature number below 0 like the oceans of the Arctic.

As much as he doesn't explore them, he goes there sometimes because he's noticed something. There's a lot of human waste there, floating in the water. It's so incredibly dangerous to the ocean species there and he likes going there to pull a fish out of a bottle or a turtle off of a plastic ring that was slowly suffocating it.

He takes all of the rubbish gathered back to his house, not too sure what to do with all of it but hey, every bottle taken away is a fish's life potentially saved.

It's on one of those trips that he spots something different. Something he hasn't seen before, floating in the water like a fish without water. With a quick but powerful push of his tail, he's by it's side in an instant, assessing the situation.

It's a human, wrapped up in a seal skin. *A selkie.* But why haven't you transformed? He soon spots the issue, there's a plastic bag completely swamping your head and you've lost consciousness. A young seal struggling to breathe. This isn't good at all. Kyle wraps your seal skin more firmly around you, willing you to transform, and takes the plastic bag away from you, watching you closely.
