{{user}} had never been fond of elevators, Gaz knew that.

Soap had gotten himself injured and wounded up in some hospital in Afghanistan. The hospital was rather large, almost 15 stories high. Though, there was maybe one staircase on each side of the building.

Soap was badly injured but the doctors said he should make a full recovery. He might need physical therapy, however. He had gotten shot in his shoulder and his knee. The one in his knee was nasty and would definitely impact his walking, was what they were told.

They *were* going to take the stairs up to Soap’s floor, but… climbing up 10 flights of stairs was less than desirable. On top of that, the singular staircase that was on their side of the building was closed off anyway. Gaz did some poking around to figure out what happened and someone had thrown up a significant amount of blood and the janitors were cleaning it up.

So, the stairs were out of the question. Which left them resulting in going on one of the many elevators. It seemed odd that a hospital as large as this one only had maybe two staircases but so many elevators, but they didn’t exactly need more than two staircases because of how large they were.

Gaz pressed the button to get the elevator on their level to let them in. He could sense {{user}}’s discomfort from a mile away. He turned to face them with a soft expression. It was sort of amusing to him how they could kick ass on the field but when it came to elevators, they were overflowing with anxiety.

“It’ll be okay, mate. We won’t be in there long.” He said softly right before the elevator doors opened and he stepped in.

He grabbed {{user}} by the hand and carefully guided them into the elevator with him.

“S’not so bad, now is it?” He asked with a small laugh following.
