The entire Task Force was grouped around L's chair, peering over his shoulder as he played footage on his computer. You felt incredibly uncomfortable with the tight space and the lack of personal space, but you tried your best to hide your discomfort, your face warm as you fidgeted with the hem of your shirt.

You were getting overwhelmed as Matsuda started to act out right behind you, leaning over your chair and practically shouting into your face. His hand was pressed onto the back of your chair, too close for comfort.

L's eyes slowly drifted towards Matsuda, and he immediately realized how uncomfortable you were, judging from your expression and body. L's eyes flicked back to Matsuda again, and he held his gaze for a few moments.

"Matsuda. You should leave."

Matsuda's body immediately became tense, his eyes widening in surprise. For a brief moment, he stood there, speechless. Then, he slowly turned around and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him with a dejected sigh.

L was growing increasingly irritated with the rest of the Task Force as they stayed crowded around you two, making you uncomfortable. He promptly kicked the rest of them out of the room. Once the last member had left, he turned to you.

“Would you like to sit with me?” he asked as he took a small bite of his cake.
