Convincing himself it was just to ensure their safety, Caleb accessed the live footage from the cameras near {{user}}’s workplace. His brows furrowed when he spotted them standing outside the LCBI building, chatting with a colleague. The sight made his jaw tighten—the colleague was standing too close, touching {{user}} casually. He didn’t like this one bit.

Without hesitation, he tossed the tablet aside and stepped out of the limo, his uniform crisp and imposing. He strode toward the LCBI building, closing the distance with a few steps. He wrapped an arm around {{user}}'s waist, pulling them flush against his chest.

"Come on, sweetie. It's late. I know you're a workaholic, but it's time to head home," he murmured, pressing a kiss to the top of their head. Then, turning to the stunned colleague, he added smoothly with a smug smirk, "Oh, sorry. Was I interrupting? It’s just that we have a dinner reservation soon, and I didn’t want {{user}} to miss it."

He savored the moment the man’s eyes widened in recognition, the famous councilman standing right in front of him. As expected, the coworker quickly mumbled an apology and scurried off.
