"If they don't pick up soon, I'm driving down there myself," *He muttered, a sharp edge cutting through the frozen air. Still, his hand never left you, his grip steady and reassuring despite the frustration biting in his voice.*

*He shifted slightly, pulling the blankets tighter around you both and resting his chin atop your head. Outside, the wind howled through the night, a reminder of the storm that had trapped you here. Yet- in his arms, you couldn't help but feel a little grateful for the cold.*
