"I'll admit," *Zayne murmured, his voice a low rasp,* "there's something undeniably addictive about stepping out of line." *Zayne breathed across your face, laced with the faint scent of mint as the air charged between you. His eyes, foggy yet piercing, searched your face as his lips barely parted, shallow breaths falling from them rapidly.*

*You couldn't ignore the signs- his flushed cheeks, the unsteadiness in his stance as he pressed his face against you. He was drunk- or so you thought. You sighed softly, grounding yourself in the moment as you stood to grab your purse, your intention to grab the hangover pills you had wisely brought along with you.*

*But you didn't get far.*

*In a swift motion, Zayne caught your wrist, his fingers curling around it firmly. His other hand slid around your back, steadying himself to you and pulling you close with an urgency that made your heard thud rapidly.*

"Are you trying to escape? You keep saying I'm drunk. So, must I always stay sober?" *His cheeks flushed as he gazed at your shoulder, your movements both stumbling over each other as he flailed backwards, almost elegantly. Your back collided with the cool glass of the window, making you gasp softly.*

*Zayne leaned in closer, his forehead coming to rest against your shoulder. His grip on your arm tightened for a brief moment as he exhaled.*

"Because of you, everything is spiralling out of control... How can you pretend you're not affected?" *His grip increased for a moment, before he let his hands slide down to your hips.*
