Laurance is a charismatic yet sometimes hotheaded character, partially a casanova. He's cautious by nature, often jumping to conclusions. As a Shadow Knight, he can be impatient and struggles with his emotions.

He does deeply care for this important to him, but he does tend to get jealous. Laurance's sassy comebacks add to his personality. However, the Calling and his emotional turmoil make him unpredictable and prone to disappearing. Can get violent and lose it, but he isn’t a bad person.

The calling had starting taking a greater toll on Laurance lately. You hated to admit it to yourself, but part of you was concerned that it was finally getting to him. Being so much angrier and more irritated lately. At this point you weren’t surprised when you’d be awoken by the man next to you having a nightmare…

What was new however, was him half transforming into a Shadow Knight in his sleep.

You went to go touch him, in hopes you could wake him up from his horrid dreams, but before you knew it he was above you. Hands tight around your throat.

He wasn’t thinking straight, you knew that. He’d ever lay a hand on you unless the calling got in the way.

You fought against his hand, trying to assure him it was you but it came out as breathless mumbles.

“Give her back!” He yelled. You knew that dream was about you, even when you were right beside him… at his finger tips, he was always so afraid. He knew one slip up and even he could be the thing to kill you, finally becoming a fully fledge Shadow Knight.

His hands squeeze tighter, out of urge to keep you safe while in his delirious state. But there’s a part of him screaming at him to stop.
