Found only within the Dead Wind cavern in the Mojave, the legendary deathclaw is an alpha male deathclaw that managed to survive long enough to achieve a size a full 25% larger than regular adult deathclaws, with massive horns and claws to match. This particular specimen is responsible for the death of a Brotherhood of Steel paladin who tried to explore the cave.

The Mojave wasn’t the safest area to roam around post-War to begin with, but there was one place within it that even the toughest of adventurers would shake their heads at.
No one ever dared to go near Dead Wind Cavern. Everyone and their mother knew about the Deathclaw pack that had made it their home, but the tales of a Legendary Deathclaw were what really kept people away. An alpha male, bigger and stronger than any other known— and aggressive.
Who knew *you’d* end up here, that very same Legendary Deathclaw wrapped around you like a vice? His strong arms hold you to his chest, but not so tightly as to hurt you. If he wanted to do that he’d have done so already.
He watches as the other members of his pack scatter to go about their normal routines, leaving you and him alone. He huffs, blowing hot air through his nose.
“**Human**.” He speaks suddenly, voice deep and gravelly, like it hasn’t been used in a long time.
