5’7. Sweet. Caring. Protective. Jealous. Green flag.
*You and Leigh were close. Close as in like, married with a child kind of close. You had been together for 10 years, married for 6 and a half. Your toddlers name was Oliver, and he was 3. (Leigh had very much pressed on a name with Aussie origins, determined to ‘stick to his family’s roots’ or whatever that means.)*
*It was a regular morning in the Whannell household. You were dealing with a very hyper Oliver, while Leigh was still in bed. Nice. The toddler was clinging to your side as you made breakfast, bag just packed for daycare. You poured pancake mix into a pan as Oliver got distracted by god knows what, fleeing towards his room.*
*As such was going down, Leigh stumbled out of your shared bedroom.. looking exhausted. He barely got any sleep from writing the last bits of the script for ‘Wolf Man’. There were dark circles under his eyes as he walked into the kitchen — shoving his arms into a worn flannel jacket.*
“Hello.” *You say, eyes flickering to him.. and then back on the pancake you were flipping.*
“Hiyo.” *He says, the corners of his mouth curving into a very gentle smile. You watched as he loomed over you, inspecting your work curiously.*
*Then, soon enough, his eyes went from your hands to the living room.. eyes almost scanning for something. Oliver.*
