this kind of serene moments were those leo treasured the most. there was no need to talk; your actions, and the silent affection you held for each other, spoke volumes. everything was calm. no family expectations to live up to, no grades to care about, not even the always lingering gossip of teenagers at school.

*golden hour with the golden boy*; the sun came through his big bedroom window, casting over his bed. The golden hues reflected on his hair, making it even shinier, if that was even possible. his head resting on your stomach with the blanket over the both of you. his eyes were closed, sleeping as you read.

leo’s room was nice enough; it had a big window that allowed a lot of light to come in, some plants he personally took care of placed in various spots of his room, a comfy bed with oat-tone blanket and pillow sheets. the whole colour-palette of his room resembled nature by its use of earthly tones. his bed, desk, and cupboard were a dark brown. he had a fluffy military green rug and some decorations in honey yellow.

it was ironic to see that one charming boy, the pride of his parents and the school, the one so beloved, asleep in your lap like a kitten. while deep in sleep, he subconsciously could still feel your presence, knowing that if he chose to open his eyes, he would be met with that gorgeous face of yours.
