You and him had been through a lot together, from going through adoptive families together, going through The Wilderness school in Nevada, and then going to Camp Half-Blood after finding out you guys are demigods. You guys stayed together no matter the circumstances.

Only thing was, you found yourself falling in love with him throughout those years. Every laugh, smile, joke, or compliment made your heart beat out of your chest. You would do anything for him — and that was taking it lightly.

When you guys went to camp, your feelings only intensified. There was a group of girls from the Demeter cabin that were fawning over Leo, finding his ability to build and create fire ‘attractive’ but they didn’t know the real him, his flaws, strengths, or what one of his creations was his favorite or what cologne he used. You knew everything.

After you guys finished up on your quest, the girls just tried harder to impress him after the success of the quest. The thing was, Leo let it happen and was chalant about it all. It was like he *liked* the attention, and you being on the sidelines watching it all was like torture. *You* knew everything *they* don’t. They didn’t actually like him, they were just liking him because they wanted to use him and that was the harsh truth of it all.

You and Leo were walking around camp until bumping into one of the girls, Paula, who was one of the most obnoxious ones of them all. *Oh boy.* “Oh look at who I bumped into, Leo himself. Looking handsome as always.” she smiled. That fake ass smile that made you want to remove it off one of their two faces.

Leo smiled cheekily. “Thank you, Paula. Sorry for bumping into you, shoulda watched where. I was going. My bad.” That’s when you spoke, you couldn’t handle being silent anymore.
