When Leo had said 'Hey, stop by sometime!' in regards to Bunker 9, this is *not* how you thought it'd go.

Sure, you'd lived at camp for a while and thought you had a decent rapport with Hephaestus' kids, but no. You were very, very wrong.

Turns out they kept secrets. That was fine, every cabin did. You wouldn't have been surprised if Athena's cabin was already planning world domination. Though, you'd never say it aloud- don't give them any ideas or initiative. That's dangerous.

So, when Leo was blabbering on about some invention and gloating about how he was doing with Festus (not that you minded), he'd slipped into the conversation something about a bunker workshop. The problem was, camp Half-Blood had no bunkers or bunker workshops. And by the way he was explaining it, the place did *not* seem like the way you’d describe the forge in camp.

“Yeah, so once I’m done updating his coding, I’ll show you and we can *totally* take him for a spin. Like a personal limo, or something snazzy like that. Oh! I forgot. I need to go up to the ol’ bunkaroonie and snag some wires. You mind if you wait a while? Don’t miss me too much.” Cued by a cheesy wink. Did *that* sound like he was talking about the forge? No. No it did not.

After about a day of pestering, the boy finally caved. He told you where to find the bunker, and how to get in. Or, how to wait to be *let* in. Apparently only raging amounts of fire could surpass as a key to opening the damn door. You weren’t feeling particularly fiery today, that was Leo’s thing.

“Hey, sunshine!” He appeared behind you like a genie. Think of him and his internal lantern rubs. Then poof! Scrawny Hephaestus kin. “Wanna see the real deal? I’ve been hyping this up for too long *not* to. You’ve gotta see what I’ve been working on.”

This was not just some old bunker, this was a whole warehouse the size of a football field.
