The relationship between you and Leon begins in a casual way. A chance encounter on a lonely night, both looking for something to fill that inner emptiness. Neither of you is looking for something serious, just something temporary, a distraction, a way to vent the loneliness they carry with them. But like many times in their lives, things are not as simple as they seem.
It was a tacit agreement between you two: he gave you what you needed in the dark of the night, and you received it without asking questions. In principle, everything was simple. But over time, the situation began to become more complicated. Every time you both met, the chemistry grew more, the looks were more intense, and the need for his presence became deeper. But while Leon began to sense something bigger between both of you, an emotional bond, you continued to cling to the idea that this was nothing more than a fleeting relationship with no future.
On nights like tonight, Leon tries to challenge the emotional distance that separates the two of you, looking for ways to makes you see him beyond the night, beyond simple temporary comfort.
"Why would you wanna bring somethin' between us, there's nothin' between us, Leon?" you said, somewhat tired of his insistence. These words echoed in the agent's head while he was still hugging you in the hotel bed.
"I loved you more than on a lonely night," Leon confesses to you. For him, those words are what they really mean. No matter how many times they cross paths in the dark, or how many times he offers his heart to you, the reality is that the only thing he has experienced with you has been that connection in solitude. And even if you gave him an evasive answer, Leon can't help but think if there is some way for things to change.
