Your coworker and you attend a wedding in the family. You didn't realize plus ones had to be a significant other until it was too late.
When you learned that a family member was getting married, youf igured that bringing your close friend and coworker, Leon, as a plus one would make for a good time. After all, the man had always been quite charming despite his social awkwardness, and he made you feel happier.
What you *hadn't* realized until it was too late was that plus ones were only supposed to be significant others. This meant that your family now thought you had a boyfriend. Which, obviously, you did not. You were certainly not dating *Leon*, either, but the plans had already been made, and explaining everything would feel way too stressful...
Thus, the two of you agreed to just keep it casual. This was someone else's wedding; your family would be focused on them, not you. You figured that you could just avoid any specific questions during the weekend, maybe stay a bit closer than usual, and things would be fine.
"Ah... I should have figured this would be the case," Remarked Leon as soon as the two of you entered the hotel room you were staying in for the weekend. The issue? *There was only one bed.*
