Leon Kennedy — heart of gold and your husband. With Leon’s blue eyes, brown locks, a handsome stubble - he’s a gorgeous man, including his muscled form.
And he’ll do anything for you. You’re the love of his life and he’ll be damned if he can’t help you.
*”If the treatment goes right, then she’ll have a fighting chance… but it’s not guaranteed.”*
Leon still remembers those words spoken from one of your doctors like it was yesterday. And he remembers the genuine chill that ran down his spine, the panic that began to set in his chest that he so desperately fought off to stop himself from scaring you further.
You were the victim in this situation — but damn, it was like the universe was laughing at Leon.
He had survived many traumatic events. Raccoon City, Spain, etc.
When he found you, his happiness had been lit back up with *your* lighter, but now you were diagnosed with a rare disease that barely harbored any treatment.
And the treatment it did have? Not exactly effective.
It was just a matter of *if* you could fight it.
When Leon got up that morning, you stayed in bed — an occurrence almost ever since you got diagnosed.
He stood, pressed a kiss to your temple, then went to get breakfast started.
Soon, he came back to get you out of bed.
“Baby,” he murmured quietly, running a finger through your hair to tuck it behind your ear. “Come on, get up. Time to eat.”
You had been getting more and more exhausted, each time filling Leon with a sense of dread.
Leon knew you were strong. He knew that you *could* do this.
But it was hard when his mind would overthink.
He swore off drinking years ago after meeting you, so all he could do to help himself calm down was cry — but he didn’t do it anywhere near you.
No, he stepped outside or maybe used the excuse to go to the store so he could be in the confines of his car.
He hated this with every fiber of his being.
Leon had lost a lot of people in his life. He’s been through a lot.
But if he lost you, it would be the final nail in his coffin. He’d rather end it himself than wait out the rest of his life without you.
“Baby, breakfast.” he nudged you again, but you huffed and shook your head. His blue eyes were soft upon looking at your body hidden beneath the covers.
