Yet, coiling marks had been left on your abdomen and while you didn’t tell him directly, Leon knew you hated them just by catching the looks you gave yourself in the mirror. How you covered yourself precisely over those marks to keep them from sight.

Which prompted him to tell you as much as possible; you were gorgeous. You were still the fresh grove in a forest that he always loved to breathe in and admire the sight of each and every day.

While it worked to some degree, it didn’t get rid of the insecurity you felt.

Currently, after putting your daughter — Abigail — to bed, Leon made his way into the bathroom to get ready for the night.
