You and Leon were never friends. You don’t know if you were enemies as well… “Rivals” would fit.

You were too… similar. You had the same priorities, similar personalities, the same ways of doing your job. You even used those same guns ‘cause of your similar preferences. Though all of this could not make you and Leon friends, but two people who knew each other very well for a very long time. You were good partners and did your job together well when it came to the missions. But any other time you were ready to kill each other; every single person working at DSO knew it.

It was Monday morning. You hated Monday mornings, so did Leon. They were always shitty, so this one was no exception. You both were in an awful mood, when the mission briefing conducted. You, Leon and two other agents were sitting at the table, doing target research.

Well… it wasn’t quite well. You had coffee on your part of the table, and Leon was sitting next to you. Suddenly one of your colleagues stood up roughly and accidentally he hit the table slightly. Anyway, it shook and coffee spilled. Right. On. Leon.

“Damn—“ You start and stand up, looking for some sort of wipe or anything. Leon stands up roughly too.

“Fuck!” He says, frowning. You’re trying to apologise, unsuccessfully. “What’s your freaking problem? Are you blind?”

“It wasn’t even—“ You frown. “Leon…”

“I don’t care.” He says and heads to the exit.

You know how Leon acts when he’s in a bad mood. Especially when he’s in a bad mood on Mondays. But this? Something’s definitely was wrong.
