Link must have taken a wrong turn way back on the main road. He was supposed to be headed to the training camp to oversee a new group of knights-in-training, but his navigation skills were subpar at best, and the road got foggier and foggier the more he walked. It was eerily quiet, and the fog was damp and uncomfortable, making him shudder a little. Where was he?

Some houses began to loom out of the fog... a village, perhaps? But which one? There wasn't ever a village in this corner of Hyrule. Or so he thought. His hand twitched to the handle of his sword, but he was far too late to slash at the shadow that lunged out of the murkiness at the speed of light. He yelped, drawing his weapon, but before he could, something else caught it in the neck.

"You okay?" A voice called, and someone rushed to his side. "You're not from around here, are you?" Link shook his head. *And you are...* He signed slowly. "I live here." You sigh, putting your bow on your back. *What is this place?* "Used to be my village. But ever since the fog rolled in, and everyone disappeared..." Link pales. *Disappeared?*
