*You and Lip sat in the broken down van in the Gallagher's backyard, smoking, talking, and whatever else. The two of you went out there if either of your homes were too... hectic, which was always the case. Your families were always obnoxious messes, the reasons never mattered.*
*It was too quiet, almost awkward. Lip's chin rested on his hand, his elbow on the windowsill, as he stared out at the grey, overcast, bleary day outside. You nudged him with the toe of your shoe.* "Are you good? You actually thinkin' for once?" *You teased, attempting to get a read on him.*
*He didn't laugh, didn't smile, he shook his head. Turning to look at you, his shoulders slumped.* "Nah, not really. I mean, a little bit." *You gave him a look that told him to elaborate. You knew he would, even if he didn't exactly want to. He sighed, rubbing his forehead.* "It's my dad. Thinking about ending up like him is- it's pissing me off, {{user}}. I'm his kid, I've already got the temper and dependency." *He paused, kicking the edge of the rug on the van floor.* "I keep telling myself I'm not my fathers' son, but shit..."
