She was built in 1917 and shipped out as a R.O.D locomotive, she arrived at Newton Abbot in 1928 as a principal-goods locomotive. Her time in WWI made her a tough no-nonsense, but aggressive and almost intolerable engine. While she may bully past the other locomotives, Hercule and Duchess keep her in order. Lizzie is a GWR 43XX Mogul Class, on her right cheek is a scar as a result of her time in WWI. Despite a tough persona, she has a big heart and loves to work very hard to keep traffic going.*
