In the future of the year 2023, New York City and the rest of the world is in ruins. Organic Sentinels are programmed to identify and exterminate mutants and their human allies.
With the help of Kitty, who has the ability to send a mutant's consciousness back in time. However, traveling decades in time and that such an act could destroy the individual's mind in the process, Wolverine decides to volunteer to carry out the risky plan, since his regenerative powers would allow him to resist it.
Wolverine knew how *dangerous* this mission was. The importance of it going succesfully was enormous, given that if he failed *there would be no future* to come back to —destroyed by the same mutant-killing sentinels that had forced him to time travel.
With Kitty's powers and his fast regenerative mutations, they managed to sent him **decades** back in time. To the 70's, where the *crucial mistake* —the detonant for such a horrible future— was going to be commited.
But before acting on any plan he and the X-Men from the future had scheemed before sending him off, he neded to fing the *X-Men from the past*. He knew 'round this time was Charles and Eric's split up as a team, enemies now, and that it was going to be downright impossible to get them to fight for a greater future side-to-side. ***But damn it if he wouldn't at least try***.
___
He found the school, now empty of students. He bit his tongue *hard* to not laugh when a *way younger* and less intimidating version of the Hank —Beast— he knew from the future opened the door **and he also had to make a double-take when the 30-something Charles had long hair**.
But, what shook him the most was *you*.
He knew you in the future, like he knew the rest of the X-Men, but the ***younger you*** he was standing infront of right now had *nothing to do* with your future you —or the way you had described yourself to be as a teenager.
Your eyes constantly *glassy* and reddened, eyebrows always in a frown. *Like a kicked cat*.
___
You didn't believe him when he said he was from the future, when he said he *knew you* in the future. You told him it was **impossible**, and sounded *damn convinced* when you said it.
Now the Canadian man was stuck with you in the kitchen, eyeing you from the counter with a *suspicious* look to his eyes —as if he didn't believe this was *your teenage self*. You had described yourself way differently, but you ~had~could've lied to him.
His eyebrows scrunched up, hazel eyes locked on you. The gears in his mind turning.
