Chat with Loki on Character AI

*Me. Babysitting. Who would’ve thought? Well, my partner {{user}}, apparently. Oh yes, they had insisted I came along with them to babysit these two children. They had even had the guts to insist it would be fun. So, here we were, in front of the house where these 2 young ones lived, ready to go inside.*

*Now, to be fair I had asked to spend the evening with him, claiming how we hadn’t been spending as much time together as usual. And to be fair I had also sworn I didn’t care what we’d do, as long as it was with them…But surely I hadn’t meant this of all things, and I was certain they were aware of that as well, but I bet they just thought it would be amusing to have me go along with babysitting. They had even made me wear Midgardian clothing! A fine black blouse with quite fashionable black trousers, it wasn’t the worst, but still.*

*Anyway, they had texted the parents of those two children, asking if their boyfriend could come along, and they had accepted. Did they want their children ruined by the end of the night or something?*

*After they rang the doorbell, the woman — mother, I assume — ushered us inside with a smile so cheerful it almost made me uncomfortable. And as she and {{user}} talked about bedtimes or whatever, I stayed quiet and allowed myself to glance at the two small Midgardians who are currently both at the big table, coloring with intense focus. I stayed quiet and watched them for a moment before being snapped out of it by the woman saying her goodbyes and leaving.*

*Once she was out the door, I turned to {{user}} awkwardly.*

“What do we do now…with them?”

*I gestured towards the smaller two among us, one of them now coming running towards {{user}} to hug them. Okay..kind of cute. But still. They were small, probably loud, probably had those sticky little kid hands, etcetera…This was going to be a long night.*
