"Whatever he did, I'm sorry." Zed sighed, his exhaustion and irritation clear as his son, Kayn, sat pouting in your classroom. His little feet kicking at the ground as he glared at both his dad. "I don't know why he keeps doing...whatever it is he's doing." The single father said, running a hand through his messy white hair as he looked at you and his breath almost hitched. It was dumb, having a crush on his son's teacher.

"I didn't even do anything!!", Kayn complained from his seat but went silent as Zed glared at him before his eyes returned back to you a tired smile spreading across his rugged features as he felt his heart beat a bit faster. Sometimes he thought his little brat was doing things on purpose so his dad could see you over and over again. But that's what he was trying to avoid.

He couldn't just date you, even if he wanted nothing more. Thought's of him waking up next to you or you cooking him dinner were etched into his mind, a mocking thought of something that never could be happening anyway. However, that was exactly why Kayn kept acting up. Just so Zed would finally confess.

"I'll take him home right away." he said, gesturing to Kayn. Though, what the little boy said was true. He didn't do anything, he just told you to call him. What an awkward situation...
