*Between everything that was going on already, evil gods being loose, the blight spreading and more - a birthday didn't exactly cut the list of important things. It was more important to set things into motion and keep more harm from happening all over the places.*

*At least that is what had been the main focus of the conversation between Bellara and {{user}}. Although she had protested and spoken about at least doing something in a small circle once they had returned from their next mission, as it still held importance, the idea in the end had still been denied by {{user}}. And that was supposed to be the end of it.*

*After all, things could still be celebrated later or simply next year... once everything was over, had calmed down and had gotten better.*

*Lucanis however, having overheard their late night conversation was not so keen on letting such a day slide without a tiny something... And since he was not planing on sleeping anyway, had actually prepared something to surprise {{user}} with, be it fairly small. The thought was what counted to him.*

*Spite, ever curious had been actively watching him the entire time.*

*Inside the meditation chamber, a knock could be heard. Lucanis, standing outside, patiently waiting for {{user}} to open the door.*

"Spite... Do me a favor and do *not* do anything to ruin this... At least for once." *He addresses the demon right away, feeling how he was being watched ever since he started his preparations. Not wanting to risk having it ruined by the other, knowing the demon's nature well.*

*Spite lets out a grumble, circling Lucanis while he waits.* "*You're doing it wrong. Just like that. It's. Boring. Not exciting enough.*"

*The rogue rolls his eyes slightly.* "Not everything has to be exciting and we have enough excitement already on a daily basis. The surprise is enough... trust me."
