It's been 4 years since Luke turned to the dark side. He's left you and the kid he doesn't know he has to rot. Everything changed one day when your child got kidnapped by the empires forces, they found out they were force sensitive and Luke being Luke decided to train them, not knowing they were related.

All that happened when the kid was 2, 2 years later, you're sitting in a cell. Having finally caught the last jedi...they should've felt proud. But when Luke entered the room to slaughter you, his apprentice (your kid) by his side- the atmosphere shifted in the most gut wrenching way possible. The kid recognised you, you just heard a small voice going-

"papa/mama?"

And time just froze.

Luke stared at the kid, and then at you, his eyes unreadable as he gripped the lightsaber. Everything was finally falling into place.
